Library Haunts

Live it up in the library for Halloween! On October 27, the Moneta and Smith Mountain Lake Library is hosting a family fun night. The event starts at 6 p.m. and does require pre-registration to attend, so make sure you get your seats now! Any children under 12 years old will need an adult to accompany them for this family-friendly event. Wear costumes, have some snacks, and play games in the library!

The Woods Have Eyes

On October 22, you can participate in a very unique event in Moneta. Survive a walking trail field with zombies and ghouls that want to take you down! Participants will pay $20 to join and will be given an airsoft pistol for the duration of the event. Take down the monsters and make it to the other side! This event isn’t recommended for young children, but older kids and adults are welcome to try their luck!

Trunk or Treat

Impact Church is playing host to Trunk or Treat this year! They aim to have around 50 trunks available with candy, snacks, and prizes. The vehicles will be set up by the auditorium of Jefferson Forest High School. This event will take place on October 30th and begin at 5:00 pm. Be sure to wear your costume and come spend a couple of hours checking out the trunks and loading up on sweets!
