Prepare Your Home

Your agent will help you get your home ready to put on the market with advice on how to make it appealing to a potential buyer. There are many ways to do this: small renovations, clearing clutter, a new coat of paint, organized and clean. Making the outside of the home appealing is important as well – “curb appeal” can entice potential buyers. If your home is empty, it may be worth doing some staging, which your agent can advise you on. Once this is done, we’re ready for the next step.

Effectively Marketing Your Home

Once your home has hit the market, your agent will start marketing it through several venues on the web: websites, social media posts, email campaigns, etc. Our Listing Specialist Department focuses solely on marketing our clients’ homes to get them sold in the least amount of time for the most amount of money. We are always in our office and we dedicate 9-11 am Monday-Friday to call potential buyers for our listings. By separating our Buyer and our Listing Specialists we can ensure that the agent you work with is focusing solely on your best interests.

Negotiating the Best Possible Deal

Once an offer has been made, your agent will work with you to communicate and negotiate offers from the buyer’s agent on your behalf. We can help guide you through this process to make sure you get what you want and the buyer gets what they want. It’s common that both parties will need to compromise and a main advantage to working with a “seasoned” agent at the Realty Group is that they will be able to effectively represent you in this step and reach this goal.

Step 6

Successfully Closing the Deal

Your agent will make sure you and the buyer have both efficiently take care of your respective contractual obligations associated with finalizing the sale; this will make this final step go smoothly and with no surprises.
