Easter can be a great time in Bedford County for the entire family. There are plenty of interesting things to see and do in the area all year round, but the Easter holiday is a special time. Let’s look at a few of the things that you might want to experience if you are in the area.
Photos with the Easter Bunny
If you have children, you know they love the Easter Bunny just as much as they love Santa Claus. Like Santa, you might want to get some cute photos of your little ones with the big bunny. Fortunately, there are plenty of places around the area to go.
On March 26, right in the town of Bedford, you can have both child and pet photos with the Easter Bunny from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Photos are $10 each, and you will get a photo in a display frame, along with a photo emailed to you, so you can have more prints made. If it’s raining, the rain date for the event is April 9.
This will take place at Lottie J. Farm, which will also have its barnyard open to explore. Admission is $5 per person and kids three and under are free.
There are other places to get photos with the Easter Bunny in the nearby area. This includes on April 3 at the Early Inn located in Rocky Mount, and between April 1 and 16 at the River Ridge Mall.
Easter Bunny at Scoops Arcade
The Easter Bunny is busy in Virginia this time of year. You can also head to Scoops Arcade in Pembroke, VA, where they will be hanging out on April 9 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. This will be a fun event with coloring books, snacks, a pair of bunny ears, and even some tokens for the arcade. The cost for this event is $6 per child.
Easter Bonnet Parade
The Easter Bonnet Parade will take place on April 16 in Clifton Forge, VA. The parade is set to start at 11 a.m., and it is sure to be a fun time for the entire family. Everyone can participate and bring their own wonderful Easter bonnet to show off in the parade. Once again, you will get to see the Easter Bunny at this event.
